India levels blind series against Pakistan

India recorded an impressive win in the second One-day International of the Pakistan-India Blind Cricket series played at the National Stadium Karachi, Friday.

Pakistan won the toss and decided to bowl first, Indian batsman posted a huge total of 405 runs in the stipulated 40 overs for the loss of six wickets. Venkatesh was the star for India with an unbeaten 121 run knock.

Ketan Patel played a supporting innings of 84 and Hanuman contributed with a swift 74. Pakistan in reply lost early wickets of Zahid Mehmood and Amir Ishfaq but Muhammad Jameel and Haroon rebuilt the innings for the hosts.


Once Haroon was sent to the pavilion after a brisk 55 run knock, Pakistan lost their way. Wickets kept falling as Muhammad Jameel also fell after making 78 off 33.

A rescue act was not delivered as Pakistan was bowled out for 366, handing India a 36 run win.
