Majid reaches U21 snooker final
Asian Junior runner-up to meet Nadeem in 11-frame title decider.

Asian Junior runner-up Mohammad Majid Ali cruised into the final of Jubilee Insurance 6th National Junior U21 Snooker Championship where he will go head to head with Haris Nadeem for a shot at the title. The final will be a best-of-11-frame match.
Majid was involved in an enthralling battle with another prodigy Hamza Akbar, unfortunately though the match failed to lived up to the expectations as Majid sailed home with a 5-1 victory.
Majid was in prolific form he piled up big breaks – one of which included a 101-point break in the third frame -- and won the frames with relative ease. He won with a dominant score-line of 78-13, 87-06(78), 101-00(101), 64-31, 53-66 and 92-01(91).
The other semi-final was a different story altogether, Nadeem made an impressive recovery from being 1-3 down against Mohammad Faheem to end up as winner with a 5-3 win. Faheem won the initial two frames to build a quick lead but it was cut-short to one-frame lead by Nadeem. However, Faheem restored his two-frame lead by winning the fourth frame.
The turning point of the match came in the sixth frame, which was won by Nadeem and he did not look back, winning the tie 28-55, 47-76, 57-17, 37-71, 61-21, 57-56, 96-67 and 56-20.
