LAHORE: The second Lahore Literature Festival (LLF) is all set to be held over the coming weekend. The three-day festival will commence on February 21 and continue until February 23 at the Alhamra Arts Council on The Mall. The tentative programme of the festival was released by organisers late on Sunday night through their official website. The schedule lists details of more than 60 sessions to be held during the three-day festival. According to the organisers, all sessions are open to public. The advisory committee for LLF 2014 includes Ahmed Rashid, Aysha Raja, Khaled Ahmed, Mohsin Hamid, Salima Hashmi, Nusrat Jamil, Mushtaq Soofi and Muneeza Shamsie. As many as a 100 speakers and panellists from eight countries will be participating in the sessions. Foreign participants include Vali Nasr, Mira Nair, Rajeev Sethi, Shobhaa De, Chiki Sarkar, K Anis Ahmed, Gavin Francis, Naman Ahuja, Pran Nevile and Vikram Seth.
