KARACHI:

A delegation of Indian journalists, from Kolkata Press Club, visited Sindh Assembly on Monday. Karachi Press Club president Imtiaz Faran welcomed the journalists and presented them ajraks.

After the initial introductions, speaker Agha Siraj Durrani suggested taking the delegation out for lunch after which several MPAs jumped in to invite them.

“People have made Lyari into a place where no one can go but I invite you to come and visit Lyari,” said PPP’s Saniya Naz. “I will show you the real and peaceful Lyari.”

MQM’s Ashfaq Mangi also joked that his party leaders would also like to visit Lyari if she invites them.
