No loss reported: Pro-govt lashkar’s compound attacked
Official of political administration confirms attack was carried out by militants of LI at around 6am.

Around 30 militants from the banned outfit Lashkar-e-Islam (LI) attacked the compound of a pro-government committee, Akka Khel, in Melwat, Khyber Agency on Sunday morning. An official of the political administration confirmed the attack was carried out by militants of LI at around 6am. He said around 30 militants attacked the Gulzar Compound, where members of the pro-government committee fired back from inside the building. The cross fire continued for an hour and the militants escaped after they had caused considerable damage to the boundary wall. Khasadar forces rushed to the site and launched a search operation, but no arrests were made.
