Cops turn robbers: Three policemen arrested for looting
Police officials say arrested policemen used to loot people while they were returning after shopping.
KARACHI:
Three policemen were arrested over their alleged involvement in looting several people at gunpoint. They were arrested near Empress Market in Saddar by the Preedy police on Saturday night. The arrested cops, Tahir Ahmed, Adnan and Rang Baz were posted to Special Investigation Unit, Preedy police station and Police Headquarters Garden. Police officials said that the arrested policemen used to loot the people while they were returning after shopping particularly after buying the CDs from Rainbow Centre. They were arrested on citizens’ complaints while the cases were registered against them and further investigation was underway.
