Advises: Petroleum Minister visits PSO

Advisor to Ministry for Petroleum & Natural Resources says PSO’s success is role model for other companies.

KARACHI: The Advisor to the Ministry for Petroleum and Natural Resources Zahid Muzaffar recently visited the head office of Pakistan State Oil (PSO). Managing Director and CEO PSO Amjad Parvez Janjua, welcomed Muzaffar and provided a comprehensive briefing on the performance of PSO along with the challenges faced by the company. Muzaffar commended the marketing and financial performance benchmarks achieved by PSO during the first half of financial Year 2014. He advised the company to continue with management and strategic thrust in line with international best practices. “PSO’s success is a role model for other companies in Pakistan,” he said, assuring the continued support of the Government of Pakistan towards the PSO management. PSO is committed towards maximising shareholders wealth; supporting the government’s energy sector reform initiatives and taking Pakistan forward to ever greater heights.
