Against mergers : Officers oppose dissolution of HAD
Provincial government is deliberately creating such conditions which lead to the dissolution of the HDA, said Aiwan.
HYDERABAD:
The officers association of the Hyderabad Development Authority (HAD) has opposed the expected dissolution of HDA, contending that a large number of employees will lose their jobs. At its meeting on Friday, the association’s president Bashir Aiwan objected to the merger of the HDA’s planning and development wing in the Sindh Building Control Authority as said in the new bill passed by the Sindh Assembly last week. “The provincial government is deliberately creating such conditions which lead to the dissolution of the HDA,” he alleged.
