Anniversary: Air varsity students remember Faiz
Celebrating the 103rd birthday of the revered poet Faiz Ahmed Faiz, Air University holds an event.
Leaving aside the need to understand the message of a great poet, the town that boasts the most institutes in the country meant to promote and nurture literature saw very few sessions to honour the poet.
Celebrating the 103rd birthday of the revered poet Faiz Ahmed Faiz, Air University held an event here on Friday, said a press release.
Funkor Childart Centre Director Fauzia Aziz Minallah was the chief guest on the occasion. She appreciating the initiative expressed the hope that we will maintain our cultural legacy and follow the thoughts of literary icons like Faiz.
The event featured a documentary produced by students on Faiz’s life.followed by a poetry contest, speeches and music.
