LAHORE:

Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Punjab president Ejaz Chaudhary said on Thursday the party wanted to become an institution to promote equality and respect for official workers.

He said the Punjab chapter of the party had signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Catalyic consultancy for ISO-9000 certification.

He was addressing party workers after the MoU was signed.  Chaudhary said it was historical moment as no other political party had sought certification aimed at opening the party to public.

He said the party would monitor the performance of its lawmakers at national and provincial levels.

He said the Punjab provincial council meeting was being convened on March 2 to decide about the provincial executive council and the core committee.
