NAUDERO: The residents of Kehar Goth blocked the main Larkana-Naudero road early on Thursday morning to protest the disconnection of electricity supply to their village due to unpaid bills. A protester claimed that a tribal chief had asked the villagers to block the road in order to pressure the government into restoring electricity as their guava orchids and crops, including wheat, were suffering due to closure of electric tube-wells. The people of Bharchoond Village also demonstrated against the disconnection of electricity supply and blocked the main Larkana-Sukkur Road near Shahnawaz Bhutto Railway Station crossing.
