Jhang by-elections: Taimoor Bhatti gets PTI ticket
PTI Punjab President says decision has made after consultation with PTI general secretary and vice chairperson.
LAHORE:
Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf on Wednesday nominated Rai Taimoor Bhatti as their candidate for by-elections in Jhang (PP-81). The nomination was announced by PTI Punjab President Ejaz Chaudhry, who said the decision had been made after consultation with the PTI general secretary and vice chairperson. Chaudhry said the government would not be allowed to snatch public mandate in the by-elections. He said the government had accommodated a person responsible for rigging the general elections. He accused the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz of violating and ridiculing court orders. He said the PTI would continue its struggle for the provision of justice to the common man, unlike rulers who had come into power through a secret deal.
