Veena Malik postpones wedding function in US due to heavy snowfall.
After getting hitched to businessman Asad Bashir Khan Khattak on December 25 last year at what was an intimate Nikah ceremony in Dubai, actor Veena Malik is all set for her big fat white wedding, set for February 21.
In a tête-à-tête with The Express Tribune, the diva said, “My husband and I were hoping to have this major wedding function in the United States on February 15, but due to heavy snowfall, we had to postpone the event. We have mutually decided to schedule it for February 21 instead.”
“It’s good to see so many of my family and friends hoping to witness this big day in my life,” Veena added. She disclosed that for the occasion, her white bridal trousseau has been designed by a Dubai-based Indian designer.
Sharing what the feel of the event will be like, she said there will be “some light music and jazz in the background.”
The weather may be cold in the US, but the love of your family and friends should keep you warm, Veena M!
