Pirabad police: Police station hit twice in 8 days

On February 2, two police personnel were wounded in a cracker bomb attack at the station.

Pirabad police station came under attack for the second time in eight days when unidentified persons hurled a cracker bomb at the station on Tuesday evening. Luckily, no one was injured in the attack.


According to police officials, the assailants were on a motorcycle and lobbed the cracker bomb after which they escaped from the site. Earlier on February 2, two police personnel were wounded in a cracker bomb attack at the station. Separately, a nurse serving at the Fatima Bai Hospital in Patel Para was shot dead near Teen Hatti within the limits of Jamshed Quarters police station. The deceased was identified as Reeta, 40, wife of Sarmoel, and was a resident of the same area.
