Assault: Explosion targets FC convoy in Sibbi
Eighteen FC officials were injured when their convoy was attacked by a remote-controlled explosive device in Sibbi. The convoy was travelling from Sibbi to Tilly Road when it was targeted near Kutmundai. The injured were taken to a nearby hospital. Three of them are in critical condition.
Meanwhile, on Saryab Road, police inspector Munir Ahmed was shot dead in Arif Gali by unidentified motorcyclists. Saeed Khan was shot dead in the Osta Muhammad area while Tariq Jan was also shot by unidentified men near Piropull in Dera Murad Jamali. In a separate incident, Mukhtaran was killed in Osta Muhammad and Ghulam Qadir Jan was killed in Sorab area by gunmen. One person was killed and two others were injured as two landmines exploded near Dera Bugti. One mine was defused.
Also, a girl and five others lost their lives in separate incidents of firing in Quetta and other parts of Balochistan.
Additionally, four miners lost their lives when they were buried under rubble after their chromite mine in Gawal in the Khanozai area caved in.
