Garments City: LHC refuses to hear further petitions
Petitioners said the bench had failed to appreciate the misery of farmers who would be affected by the project.

A Lahore High Court division bench on Monday referred appeals challenging a single bench’s decision on the establishment of Garments City in Sheikhupura to the chief justice after Justice Khalid Mahmood Khan cited personal reasons not to hear the appeals. The petitioners said a single bench had dismissed their writ petitions without going into the details of the case. They said the bench had failed to appreciate the misery of farmers who would be affected by the project.
