Projects: Railways development work reviewed

Meeting reviews proposal to hire locomotives from National Logistics Cell.

LAHORE: Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafiq chaired a meeting to review development work at its headquarters on Friday. The meeting was attended by Railways chairperson Perveen Agha, Railways Board Secretary Aftab Akbar and other officials. They decided to remain in close liaison with the government to retrieve illegally occupied railway land, improve the standard of food in dining cars and restaurants at various stations. They also decided to invite high-end companies to increase PR revenue. The meeting reviewed a proposal to hire locomotives from the National Logistics Cell.
