Drone strikes: FO reiterates ‘complete halt’ demand
Foreign ministry spokesperson says we have stated it from this forum many times that drone strikes are unacceptable.
ISLAMABAD:
Pakistan’s Foreign Office on Thursday reiterated its demand of seeking a “complete halt” in the US drone campaign in the tribal areas a day after American news reports claimed that the Obama administration had decided to drastically reduce the controversial strikes. “We have stated it from this forum many a time that drone strikes are unacceptable,” foreign ministry spokesperson Tasnim Aslam said.
