Illegal hydrants: Bomb hoax at the office Sharjeel was to visit

Sharjeel ssays such cowardly acts cannot discourage him and he will continue his campaign against hydrants.

Reports of a bomb being planted outside the Water Board Office, which the Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon was to visit, were found to be untrue.



A bomb disposal squad visiting the site confirmed that there was no bomb planted in the Bahadurabad area of Shara-e-Faisal.

The police officials, meanwhile, cordoned off the area. The BDS spent two hours searching the office premises. According to monitoring desk all the buildings, parking area and the vehicles were searched thoroughly. Memon was to visit the office accompanied by MD water board as part of his drive against illegal hydrants.

Sharjeel said such cowardly acts cannot discourage him and he will continue his campaign against hydrants established without proper legal justification.
