Friendly competition: Oasys school to hold futsal tournament today

Top two teams from each pool will qualify for the semi-finals.

The Oasys School will hold a futsal tournament today at the PAD futsal ground in Clifton.


The contest is similar to mini-soccer and is played on basketball-sized courts. The Oasys School sports coordinator, Majid Rasool, said that the event was organised to promote sports as well as to promote friendship among the students.

Participating teams are from The Lyceum School, Avicenna, Bay View High, Karachi High, Clifton High, The City School, Aisha Bawany Academy and Haque Academy, and are divided into two pools. Top two teams from each pool will qualify for the semi-finals.
