Two teenagers admit to raping a 6-year-old girl
Court sends the two suspects on a 5-day physical remand.
KARACHI:
Two teenage suspects, accused of sexually abusing a six-year-old girl on February 2 in Karachi, admitted to their crime in front of a judicial magistrate during hearing of the rape case, Express News reported on Wednesday.
The assault took place in the Clifton area of Karachi and the two suspects were arrested by the police on February 4.
The court sent the two suspects on a five-day physical remand.
According to a Boat Basin police official, the teenage suspects had attempted to rape the girl in Rati Lane, a slum area in Clifton Block 7.
The girl had left her home for a shop near her house when she was approached by the accused. One of them offered her samosas and pakoras and took her to his house situated just two houses away from the girl’s where the assualt took place.
Police official Nisar had said that the two teenagers were arrested when the girl’s family had reported the case.
