Nawaz invites India to solve Kashmir dispute

Prime minister says Pakistan believes India will let the people of Kashmir decide their fate.

MUZAFFARABAD: On the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif invited the Indian leadership to address the Kashmir issue with all seriousness, Express News reported on Wednesday.

Prime Minister Nawaz was addressing the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly where he said he was hopeful that India will respond positively to his invitation.

“We believe India will let the people of Kashmir decide their fate,” he added.

The prime minister further said that the spiritual connection between the people of Pakistan and of Kashmir grows stronger with each passing day.

He added that the issue can never be ignored and that the desires of the Kashmiri people have to be respected.

Nawaz said Pakistan will continue to support the Kashmir cause until the people get their due rights.

Nida Alvi | 10 years ago | Reply @ Desi Samachar By your logic, you should stop military intrusions Assam, Nagaland, Kashmir & Punjab and let the people of those areas decide about their own fate! Otherwise, the democracy is a dacosla of hindu-extremists' India.
