Pakistan, Finland: First business summit inaugurated
Special assistant says Pakistan is investor-friendly country which provides an enormous market for foreign investors.

Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Syed Tariq Fatemi, while highlighting the close ties between Pakistan and Finland, has stressed the need for enhancing trade between the two countries. Inaugurating the first-ever Pakistan-Finland Business Summit, he said Pakistan is an investor-friendly country which provides an enormous market for foreign investors. He said strengthened bilateral relations would help benefit the economies of both countries. Speaking about the Pak-China economic corridor, he said upon completion, it would lead to connectivity and prosperity for more than three billion people of South Asia, Central Asia and the Middle East. Finnish Ambassador Rauli Suikannen praised the government for its investor-friendly policies and stated that renewed interaction between Pakistani and Finnish businessmen would yield positive results.
