Investigators have yet to find any conclusive evidence with regards to the case of the six men who were found murdered at a shrine in Gulshan-e-Maymar, last month.
The bodies were found in a mud-house close to the Ayub Shah Shrine, situated on a hillock in a deserted area in Gulshan-e-Maymar, on January 7. A sharp-edged dagger was also found from the crime scene.
Police had also released sketches of the two suspects they believed to be involved in the incident with the help of the shrine’s custodian, Jumman Shah Faqir. Sources privy to the matter told The Express Tribune that the investigators have also detained a few suspects to assist them with the probe.
“It is a routine matter to detain suspects and question them,” said the station investigation officer, Wahid Buksh Gulzar, while talking to The Express Tribune. “We still do not have any leads with regards to the case.”
