Road mishap: Two killed, one injured as truck skids
Mechanical fault in the vehicle cause driver to lose control near Qalandarabad.
ABBOTTABAD:
Two people were killed and one person was injured when a truck fell into a roadside ravine near Qalandarabad, some 4 km from Abbottabad city on Sunday. According to the police and eyewitnesses, the truck was carrying vegetables from Sheikhupura to Mansehra when the driver lost control of the steering wheel. Police said a mechanical fault in the vehicle caused the driver to lose control. The accident led to the death of Bilal and his cousin Shabbir, residents of Bandi Atai Khan village in Havelian, while truck cleaner Abdul Ghafoor was severely injured.
