Hajj Policy: Private operators quota to be restored
He added that quotas for the private tour operators would be restored in the upcoming Hajj.

Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yusaf said on Saturday that a new Hajj policy was being worked upon for providing better facilities to pilgrims. Addressing a function at Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI), he said that the government attaches top priority to improve the conditions for the pilgrims in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia during Hajj. He said a high-level delegation is being sent to Saudi Arabia to negotiate various matters pertaining to transport and residential accommodation to the faithful during Hajj. He assured that all the workable suggestions of RCCI for the improvement of facilities to the pilgrims would be incorporated in the new Hajj policy. He added that quotas for the private tour operators, slashed during the last year, would be restored in the upcoming Hajj.
