LAHORE:

An additional district and sessions judge on Saturday fixed February 20 for arguments in a private complaint seeking the registration of a case against the administration of The Educators school for forcing the petitioner’s daughter to stand on a desk with her hands raised.

Mian Aftab Qaisar filed a complaint against Imranullah, administrator of The Educators school, and Rizwana Asif, principal of the school’s Makkah Campus. The petitioner said his daughter was enrolled in play group. He said he had visited the school on September 2, 2013, and found his daughter had been made to stand on the principal’s desk with her hands raised. He said she was terrified and was screaming. “I was shocked to see my daughter being made to suffer in this way,” said Qaiser. He requested the court to direct the police to register a case.
