Regional Languages: PAL promoting Balochi literature
The PAL is promoting Balochi literature, through its quarterly and bi-annual literary publications
ISLAMABAD:
The Pakistan Academy of Letters (PAL) is promoting literature of regional languages especially Balochi, through its quarterly and bi-annual literary publications, according to PAL Chairman Abdul Hameed. He was meeting with a delegation of educationists from Balochistan, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Azad Kashmir on Friday. They are in Islamabad to participate in a workshop on the poet Allama Iqbal at the International Islamic University. Hameed said PAL has given special significance to the representation of Balochi literature and also published a brief history of the Balochi language in its publications.
