Pricing formula: Boost performance, ministry told
Senator says the ministry should take strict action against those involved in the illegal practice.

The head of the Senate Standing Committee on National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination has called upon the health ministry and its related departments to improve its performance. Senator Zafar Ali Shah, who chaired the Senate body meeting on Thursday, said the government should announce the price formula for medicines and announce a comprehensive policy in this regard. He threatened to take strict action against those who found involved in hiking the price of medicines. Senator Kalsoom Parveen, a committee member, said the ministry should take strict action against those involved in the illegal practice and provide support to such mafia.
