A meeting to discuss Shah Abdul Latif University (Salu) Khairpur’s five-year business plan was held on Tuesday. Salu vice-chancellor Dr Parveen Shah presided over the meeting and its planning and development director, Professor Dr Ghulam Ali Mallah, gave a presentation. The plan addresses governance, ownership, academic programme, research, international academic network, infrastructure and human resource needs. It has been formed in line with the World Bank’s agreement with the Higher Education Commission to support Medium-Term Development Framework-II through its Tertiary Education Support Programme. The university aims to improve its facilities through this agreement.
