Armed bandits: Robbers flee with Rs4 million

Six armed men robbed the National Savings Centre at Teer Chowk in Sukkur.

SUKKUR: Six armed men robbed the National Savings Centre at Teer Chowk on Barrage Road on Tuesday and managed to take Rs4 million in cash and prize bonds. National Savings Centre regional chief Lutufullah Abro confirmed that the robbery had taken place and told The Express Tribune that the robbers also took away a weapon from the guard.
