Wapda beat Karachi Port Trust (KPT) 5-2 while Pakistan Army defeated Afghan FC 2-0 in the Pakistan Premier League.
KPT’s Zahid Ahmed scored the opening goal but Zeeshan Javed netted the equaliser five minutes before the interval. Wapda dominated the second half with Bakhsh scoring three goals to go with Arif Mehmood’s goal in the 68th minute to stretch their lead to 5-1. KPT’s Muhammad Wasim netted a late equaliser to earn some consolation for his team.
Meanwhile, Army took an early lead over Afghan FC through Muhammad Imran and Sharjeel Vicky sealed the 2-0 win. In other matches, Pakistan Air Force beat Habib Bank Limited 2-0 and National Bank of Pakistan outplayed Young Blood 2-1.
