Legislation: New IT bills in the pipeline, says Anusha
Prevention of Electronic Crimes Bill drafted, to be presented in parliament after endorsement by federal cabinet.
ISLAMABAD:
Minister of State for Information Technology Anusha Rehman said on Thursday that the draft of the information technology policy would be ready for implementation from June. Talking about other bills, the minister said the draft of the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Bill had been prepared and would be presented in parliament following its endorsement by the federal cabinet. “Another bill to check cyber stalking especially in social media in currently in pipeline,” she added.
