The Pakistan Association of Automotive Parts Accessories Manufacturers (PAAPAM) welcomed the recent Pak-India pact that agrees to round-the-clock trade through the Wagha- Attari land route.

The Pakistan Association of Automotive Parts Accessories Manufacturers (PAAPAM) welcomed the recent Pak-India pact that agrees to round-the-clock trade through the Wagha- Attari land route.
PAAPAM Chairman Usman Malik said that Pakistan’s auto industry was unprepared for an Indian onslaught in the country’s market and would be severely impacted if only one-way trade existed. “PAAPAM wants manufacturing-based trade with India and does not want Pakistan to become a market for Indian finished goods,” he said, adding that import of industrial inputs from India should be allowed.
