Quetta operation: Three kidnappers die in firefight
Two police personnel also sustain injuries in an operation on Saryab Road to recover a kidnapped trader.

Three kidnappers were killed and two police personnel sustained injuries in an operation on Saryab Road to recover a kidnapped trader. Capital City Police Officer Quetta Abdul Razzaq Cheema said police raided a house in Kalat street on a tip-off. Police, ATF and security forces cordoned off the area and commenced an operation at 12:00 am, which lasted five hours. “Three kidnappers were killed and a blindfolded man was recovered from the house after an exchange of fire,” he added. A local trader, Rozi Khan, was kidnapped from Satellite Town and police were attempting to recover him during this raid. However, the recovered kidnapped person was identified as another victim. “Investigations are under way to ascertain the identity of the kidnappers,” Cheema said.
