Are you next to Godliness?: Cleanliness week to begin from Jan 25
Prizes would be awarded to schools with excellent cleanliness throughout the week.
FAISALABAD:
The Education Department has decided to observe cleanliness week at all government schools in the district from January 25 to January 31, a department spokesman said on Monday. He said the cleanliness week was planned on the direction of District Coordination Officer Noorul Amin Mengal. He said all government schools would be inspected on February 1. Prizes would then be awarded to schools with excellent cleanliness throughout the week. The district coordination officer said the event would help develop a habit of cleanliness among young students. He said such weeks should be observed more than once year. He said parents should ensure that children were regularly told about keeping themselves and their surroundings clean.
