Blast near Rangers vehicle in Nusrat Bhutto Colony
Blast leaves one rangers official injured, and three other people. Two suspects arrested.
KARACHI:
A cracker exploded near a Rangers vehicle in Nusrat Bhutto Colony in North Nazimabad on Monday evening injuring a Rangers personnel and three other people, Express News reported.
According to initial reports, unidentified armed men attacked the Rangers vehicle stationed near Manghopir in Nusrat Bhutto Colony.
As a result of explosion, one Ranger was wounded. The injured was moved to Rangers Hospital in North Nazimabad where doctors said that his condition was out of danger.
Brigadier Hamid of the Sachal Wing of the Rangers said that the cracker bomb was used to attack the Rangers, adding that the Rangers have apprehended two suspects riding a motorcycle.
Following the explosion, Rangers conducted an operation in the area to apprehend more suspects.
