Chief Editor of Dawn.com passes away
Musadiq Sanwal's funeral prayers were held in Karachi and his body has been flown to Multan to be buried.

The Chief Editor of Dawn.com Musadiq Sanwal lost his battle against lung cancer on Friday, the news website reported.
Sanwal's funeral was held at the Imambargah Yasrab in DHA Phase IV, Karachi at 1:45pm today.
Funeral prayers had been held in Karachi and his body was flown to Multan to be buried.
Sanwal had been diagnosed with cancer around a year ago and had underwent multiple treatments since then.
He is survived by his wife and two children.
Biography
Sanwal was born in 1962 and studied at the National College of Arts (NCA) in Lahore, according to Dawn.
He worked at BBC Urdu and returned to Pakistan in the mid-2000s.
“Musadiq was a journalist, writer and a hugely-talented man with untold amounts of creativity. He was an extremely supportive husband and doting father,” said former Dawn newspaper editor Abbas Nasir.
