Social media: Youth policy for FATA in the pipeline

A draft for the youth policy in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata) was developed by the FATA Secretariat on orders from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Governor Shaukatullah Khan.
In order to ensure that the policy is acceptable to the people of Fata, the Secretariat uploaded contents of the proposed policy on different social forums, including the FATA Secretariat website, PCNA FATA website and the Directorate of Information’s Facebook page.
The Secretariat plans to hold a workshop in the last week of January for a one-on-one consultation with youth, journalists, lawyers and tribal representatives.
