NOWSHERA:
The bullet-riddled bodies of four unidentified men were found in Amangarh area of Nowshera on Tuesday.
Azakhel police station’s SHO Saif Ali Khan said residents informed police officials about the bodies lying near Kabul River in Amangarh.
The police rushed to the site and took the deceased to District Headquarters Hospital for an autopsy.
Khan said the postmortem reports revealed all four men were shot in the head from close range, adding the bodies also bore marks of torture.
The official added all four men sported beards and had rosaries in their pockets.
He added tehsil municipal administration officials buried the bodies after no one claimed them.
The police have registered a case and started investigation.
