Disease management: ‘No dengue fever death at LGH’
PGMI principal says comprehensive strategy had been evolved to save dengue fever patients.

Post Graduate Medical Institute Principal Anjum Habib Vohra on Sunday said all dengue fever patients referred to the Lahore General Hospital in 2012 and 2013 had recovered. He said a comprehensive strategy had been evolved to save dengue fever patients during 2014 to maintain the health standards at the hospital. “Training workshops and seminars for medical staff and general public will be held. A cleanliness drive will also be launched,” he said. Talking to newsmen, Vohra said Pakistani doctors, nurses and paramedics were as capable as those working abroad.
