Talks still on offer but will fight those who don't accept it: Chaudhry Nisar
Interior Minister says anyone who responds to the invitation with guns will be pursued and accordingly dealt with.
ISLAMABAD:
Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said on Sunday that the government still prioritized negotiations with the militants, but anyone not willing to enter talks will face the bullet.
Nisar was speaking to the media at Punjab House in Islamabad about the government's stance on its war on terror.
He said the federal government will ensure that negotiations are bound by the country's constitution and keep national interests as the central concern, but those who do not respond favourably to the offer for talks will be pursued and severely dealt with.
Commenting on the ongoing treason trial of Pervez Musharraf, the minister said the Saudi Foreign Minister Saud Al Faisal never discussed Musharraf in his meeting with the Pakistani Prime Minister and that the Musharraf's name will not be excluded from the Exit Control List.
