Crackdown: Operation against encroachment continues

The city government confiscated 10 truck-loads of merchandise and structures on Saturday during a crackdown against illegal occupation of state land.

Shalimar Town administration removed encroachments from GT Road and Link road. Nishtar Town from Kacha Jail Road, Ravi Town from Ravi Road, Aziz Bhatti Town from Jora Pul, Data Ganj Bakhsh Town from Naulakha Bazaar, Samanabad Town from Wahdat Road and Iqbal town from Raiwind Road. DCO Javed Qazi said teams from all TMAs were fully operational. He said they were determined to make Lahore an encroachment-free city.
