Ode to Aitizaz questions where Imran Khan's 'thekedaars' are hiding

As legislators in the K-P Assembly shied away from lauding the hero, an admirer of young Aitizaz Hasan read out a poem asking what the so called loyalists of the nation were hiding behind now.

Below is an Urdu transcription together with an English translation of the poem:

"Dhoonda jab shahaadat ne, Aitizaz mil gaya,

Choti si umar mein bara aizaaz mil gaya.

Martyrdom found its way to Aitizaz,

A colossal honour bestowed at a tender age,

Ek mard-e-mujahid khud ko qurbaan ker gaya,

Shaheed ho ke qaum per ihsaan ker gaya,

A soldier's sacrifice for his people,

A martyr's unparalleled service to his nation,

Mita diya zaalim ko faqatt ek waar se,

Thori si umar mein bara ai'laan ker gaya,

He erased evil with a single act,

An immense victory for a mere youth,

Shaheed Aitizaz ke gham-khwaar na aye,

Imran Khan ke woh thekedaar na aye,

Those who claimed to be with him never arrived,

The companions of Imran Khan never arrived,

Chakkay laganay walay woh leader kahan gaye?

Lafzon se kheltay woh Sikandar kahan gaye?

I say, where are those known for their heroic sixes?

I ask, where are those known to roar like lions?

Malala ke gham-khwaar naamwar kahan gaye?

TV peh aanay walay mu'tabir kahan gaye?"

The so-called admirers of Malala, where are they?

Where are the talking heads always there on TV?
