FAISALABAD:

Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) President Engineer Suhail Bin Rashid has said that the difficulty of shifting industrial units from city areas may also cause old machinery to become in-operational, during a committee meeting held under the chairmanship of Rana Muhamnmad Afzal, constituted by the Punjab chief minister.

He said that a sub-committee has also been constituted by the chairman to shift industries from the city area, proposing that a strategy must be devised for individual water tests of the factories to arrive at a decision before the development.

“Owners of the factories will have to bear huge financial losses, they will also face problems concerning trained workforce.” said Rashid.
