LAHORE:

Police said on Tuesday that DNA samples of three men accused of the rape and murder of a child maid in Faisal Town two days ago have been sent to the Punjab Forensic Science Laboratory.

Model Town Police Super Intendant (Investigation) Saifullah Khattak said that the family of the girl had alleged that the girl had been raped before she was murdered.

He said that DNA samples of the owner of her employer and his three sons have been sent to the laboratory.

Khattak said that no torture marks had been found on the girl’s body.

He said that the mother of the deceased had insisted on initiating a complaint against the man as well as his three sons.

The 16-year-old maid was found dead at her employer’s house near Mochipura, Township, on Sunday. Her employers had claimed that she had committed suicide.
