One notch up: NUML scholars get US research fellowship

ISLAMABAD:
A group of scholars from National University of Modern Languages (NUML) will proceed to University of North Texas (UNT) in the US this month to attend a two-month research fellowship program at UNT.
In a ceremony, 12 PhD and MPhil scholars from the English studies department were awarded the scholarships.
This is the second batch of scholars under the three-year academic partnership between the NUML and the UNT to boost the research culture.
The first cohort, consisting of faculty members, attended the program in August 2013.
Fellow Huma Batool said, “I aim to optimise this opportunity to its fullest so that when I come back, I am able to contribute to the field of research.”
