Concealed cash: Suspected money launderer held
Currency notes, worth 276,850 Saudi riyal and 27,000 South African rand were concealed in socks and jacket.

The Drugs Enforcement Cell of Pakistan Customs, posted at Jinnah Airport in Karachi, claims to have arrested a Pakistani passenger and seized a large sum of money from his possession. The suspect, identified as Minhajuddin, a resident of Peshawar, was travelling to Dubai by flight EK601. The customs spokesperson told The Express Tribune that currency notes, worth 276,850 Saudi riyal and 27,000 South African rand (equivalent to Rs8.1 million) were concealed in his socks and jacket. Moreover, around 150 used mobile phones were also discovered from his baggage. The spokesperson said that an FIR has been registered and further investigations are under way.
