Too cold to study? Sindh extends winter vacations till January 8
Government extends winter break due to cold wave.
KARACHI:
Following the latest cold wave sweeping the province, the government of Sindh on Wednesday announced that the winter break in schools and colleges across the province had been extended till January 8, 2014, Express News reported.
The provincial government extended the vacations on account of the extreme weather the province is currently experiencing.
Private School Management Association too had requested that the government extend winter vacations.
Earlier, schools and colleges had opened on Wednesday January 1, 2014 after the winter vacations, which now would open on Wednesday, January 8, 2014.
