Explosives with electronic circuits and remote controls were once again found on the route scheduled to be taken to court by former president Pervez Musharraf on Wednesday.
The police said one kilogramme of explosives was planted near the Chak Shehzad traffic signal on Park Road. A remote control was also found along with three electronic circuits.
However, the police have failed to trace the perpetrators behind this and previous acts of terrorism.
The Bani Gala police registered a case against ‘unidentified persons’.

• On December 30, 2013 five packets each containing 0.5kg explosives were found near Musharraf’s farmhouse in the jurisdiction of the Bani Gala police station.
• On December 24, the day Musharraf was to appear before a specially-constituted court that is hearing a treason trial against him, a five-kilo Improvised Explosive Device was found in a briefcase along the route the former dictator would have taken to reach the court. Musharraf failed to show up for that hearing citing security concerns. A detonator was also found in one of the packets, police said, citing the Bomb Disposal Squad which was called to the spot after police were alerted.
• On April 23, 2013, an explosive-laden car was found outside the farmhouse. The police had claimed the car was meant to target the former president’s convoy on his return from an anti-terrorism court from Rawalpindi.

In any case Musharraf is not be blamed for it . Interior Ministry is responsible to deal with this as also the culprits. Only shows and proves that security is lax and Musharraf should not risk exposing himself to it
They think that the people in Pakistan and abroad are either naive or so stupid to believe this kind of game. We know how much security is present around Musharraf's so called farm house and above all in Islamabad. Who are they hood winking, the judiciary is not going to fall for this scenario for too long and will demand for Musharraf to present himself to the court. It just shows to the world that Pakistani security system in their Capital is so lax and abysmal that people are running around leaving explosives right and left. Some body should put some sense in these people who are devising stupid methods for Musharraf not to appear before a judge because it is beneath his dignity to do so.If the security needs to air lift him to the court then they should do it.
